  • Dedicated teachers and engaging curriculum
What excites you most about your ministry?
  • Watching the kids come each week excited to go to class
  • Seeing parents getting involved with their children's programs
  • Seeing 20 - 4 year olds listening intently to a story or jumping up and down, singing praises
What is a book that you would recommend?
Boundaries With Kids by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend.

Favorite scripture and why:
Mark 10:13-15
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

This verse reminds me how much Jesus values our precious children. We can learn so much from them about faith and hope. They see Jesus in the simple joys of life.

Your Personality Tree by Florence Littauer

Favorite scripture and why?
Mark 10:14
"Suffer the little children to come onto me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of God"

This is the verse that I would say drives me to reach the children for Jesus. When I was in junior high I went through the Child Evangelism training program and lead back yard bible clubs, and this verse was so important to me. I could see Jesus working in those little lives!! And my heart went out the children, I believe Jesus wants us to lead them to Christ!! Jesus showed us that they are important, and we need to treat them just as Jesus did.
